There was only one downside in the victory over the Spurs on Tuesday, which was Gibbs getting substituted due to a fear of injury to his metatarsal. Scans have now shown that it’s just severe bruising and he will be out for a short while.
There isn’t much happening out there except the International matches. As for Arsenal, they have announced their squad for 2010/11 season. It seems that we haven’t yet eliminated the problems we had last season. And for all the talk and belief that this season is ours, performance like this doesn’t help.
We always have most of the possession but create very little or of no effect going forward. Why are we at a loss of what to do in the final third of the field? Why do we have to make things complicated? Why are we shy to take the initiative? And why the hell do we need to pass near our danger area? Just clear the ball. I won’t mention the keeper!
