Arsenal vs Leyton Orient: Preview and Starting Eleven

Well, the only good thing about fixtures every three days is that you have the chance to respond quickly after a bad game and today we are in a similar situation. After what happened on Sunday, we have to forget that and get back to winning ways today.

Leyton Orient pay us a visit today and although it is an unnecessary fixture but for me today is the most important game for us considering the fact that it will show how much the Carling Cup loss has affected us. A win today and we will be back on track after a slight bump. And considering them, it will be criminal to lose.

All we need to do is stay focused for the full 90 minutes and fight for every ball. We cannot win by simply moving the ball around. We need to perform all over the pitch. Be it scoring goals or defending, we want the whole team to give their best. And please Arsenal, kill the game, don’t wait for the opposition to score and grow in confidence.

Arsene Wenger has already ruled out plenty of players with injuries for today as well as for the next match. So, we are in line to see a similar set of players who featured in the first match against them and hopefully they will prove their worth today.

In goal, Almunia is coming in for Szczesnyas Wenger said in his press conference on Tuesday. With Koscielny ruled out, I expect Djourou and Squillaci to partner at the centre of defense and on the flanks Eboue and Gibbs are most likely to feature.

In the middle, I would like Nasri to feature but we all know it won’t happen with plenty of fixtures coming up. It will most likely be the trio of Denilson, Diaby and Rosicky as we can’t play Song due to injury and Wilshere and Nasri both need to have a rest.

Up front, Chamakh, Bendtner and Arshavin are set to feature as we have don’t have Walcott and Van Persie.

Probable starting XI: Almunia, Eboue, Djourou, Squillaci, Gibbs, Diaby, Rosicky, Denilson, Bendtner, Chamakh, Arshavin

These players failed the first time around but tonight I am expecting them to give Leyton a spanking to remember. I am expecting a big performance from the team.

A couple of goals will be enough to put this fixture to rest. However, I want us to score at least 4 goals and keep a clean sheet.

Keep your fingers crossed, tonight we will get back to winning ways. Have a great day and enjoy the game. Come on Arsenal!! and come on Gooners!!

can someone help me to tell wenger to read the handwriting on the wall… Rosiscky is a bad luck to arsenal this season. Every game he has played this season either end up in a draw or loss. This man is a man with no vision in midfield. Come on wenger….
